we are transient beings. we are in a constant state of transit from here to there -- today to tomorrow. and in always coming and going we are plagued by the unknown. anxious and uncertain we start to question. will we get there? and where is this 'there'? and what awaits us in the destination? and so we lie in bed at night, unable to sleep trying desperately to grab on to a minute degree of certainty -- clutching blindly in the dark, only to find the arms of the Almighty, already outstretched, waiting only for us to hold on to Him.
so for every new day, thank god
